Concertreis Wissel/Kalkar

Tijdens de Pinksterdagen maakte de fanfare, in het kader van haar 110 jarig bestaan, een concertreis naar Wissel. Dit is een klein plaatsje tussen de steden Xanten en Kalkar, een kleine 20 km over de Duitse grens bij Nijmegen. Hier waren we te gast in het Kulturhaus welk beheerd wordt door het Nederlandse paar Sabine en Wolbert.

Wij vonden er drie dagen een werkelijk gastvrij onthaal waar we veel leuke uren hebben doorgebracht. Na een generale repetitie op zaterdagavond in het kulturhaus hadden we op Pinksterzondag om 14 uur een uitvoering op het marktplein in Kalkar. Daarbij was er flinke belangstelling van inwoners van Kalkar en toeristen.

Vanuit Wissel werden er diverse uitstapjes gemaakt en werd het verblijf in Wissel afgesloten met een boottochtje op de Rijn. Al met al een onvergetelijke concertreis.
